Job Description


The Department of Athletics and Recreation is currently creating a list of energetic, outgoing, customer service focused team members to join our Panther Event Staff for the 2024-2025 varsity season. The Game Day Coordinator is important in creating and enhancing the atmosphere and overall experience of Panther Events.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Game Day primary contact for Teams, Officials, Facility, Fans and Emergencies
  • Game Day Staff Leader
  • Game Set Up/Tear Down
  • Coordinate/Lead In-Game Promotions
  • Work closely with Sports Information for requested Photos and Interviews
  • Game Sheet/Score dissemination to Website, Media and AUS
  • Game Video uploading to Video Exchange services
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Student enrolled in a program at UPEI
  • Understanding of all Game Day and Sport Specific related
  • Information and requirements to ensure compliance and a positive Game Day experience
  • Sport Background
  • Strong Communicator
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, well spoken
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be comfortable in large crowds
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (3-4 hours)
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions as some events are held outdoors
