Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled gas fitter to join our team. With experience in various manufacturing, construction and residential environments. The fitter will be responsible to ensure all work complies with relevant codes, acts, and regulations.

Duties

Assemble, install, and connect gas appliances, such as furnaces, water heaters, and stoves. Inspect, test, and repair gas equipment, including meters and regulators. Perform maintenance on HVAC. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Assist in HVAC, and maintenance tasks as needed. Filling out required paper work.

Requirements

G2 or G1 fitter license. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools effectively. Familiarity with rigging practices and safety standards in manufacturing environments. Experience in HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid divers license. Working at heights, confined spaces and elevated platform training is a plus. Willing to travel. On-call rotation. (weekends, holidays and nights)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
