Home Envy Furnishings is dedicated to helping Create Home Envy with our stunning selection of Canadian made furniture. We offer a range of styles from modern to rustic, and our unique built-to-order process allows customers to customize their selections with various options.

Summary

As a Sales Associate at Home Envy Furnishings, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience and helping guide customers through the customization process from finding the right piece to making it fit and match perfectly for their home and needs.

As a small showroom environment we require that you also assist in other facets of day to day operations from receiving and detailing products, creating floor displays and keeping the showroom clean and orderly.

Added bonuses would be prior interior design or furniture sales experience and / or social media experience creating posts, reels and in-store clips.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their furniture needs and preferences Provide product information and demonstrate features of various items Receive product and detailing it prior to in-home delivery or pick up Calling customers to schedule delivery / pick up of their custom ordered pieces Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction

Requirements

Must have proven experience in retail sales (with an emphasis on prior furniture sales and / or interior design) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to engage customers and build rapport effectively Organizational skills to manage time, product information and sales processes efficiently The ability to lift and move furniture both around the showroom and upon customer pick up Some experience with social media apps (Canva / CapCut / Hoot Suite) would be beneficial

Schedule

Shifts and hours can be flexible to work around your commitments but would need at least 1-2 days (4 hour minimum) per week and 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) per week
