Compensation: Fixed Base salary plus 5% commission ( exact details to be shared during interview)

What is expected:

- Your primary focus is to sell and promote our products through our retail store in Mississauga, ON and help with reaching out for wholesale orders.

- You will assist store management in completing the sales targets and operational functions of the store and also assist with store management with all other tasks as required.

- Plan and execute weekly and monthly marketing plans and organize and participate in furniture tradeshows.

- Manage business social media platforms and carry out any administrative tasks as required.

- Resolve any customer issues and ensure to keep a very high level of customer satisfaction

- Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features to achieve the best outcome.

- Keep customers up-to-date on order activity, provide progress reports and handle issues in a professional and courteous manner.

- Flexibility to work with stock inventory and special order to meet our customer needs.

- Seeks challenges and is able to overcome obstacles with solutions.

- Enjoys working in retail and understands the concepts of selling in a professional environment.

- Proficiency in English and good communication skills.

Qualification:

- Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which may require evening, weekend, holiday.

- At least 3 years working in retail store, preferably in a furniture retail environment.

- Ability to communicate with customers and store personnel.

- Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

- Ability to move around the sales floor, stock room and office, as well as lift heavy objects

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
