Job Description
One of Alberta's oldest and largest family owned movers is seeking Moving Helpers to join our team in Edmonton.
What we're looking for in candidates:
- able to handle the physical demands of moving
- able to work as part of a team to complete large moves
- a great customer service attitude (also helps with tips)
- moving or similar experience is a plus and may factor into starting pay rate, however this is not mandatory as we can train successful applicants
- able to get to our location for early morning start times
- benefits are available to full time employees after specified periods of full time employment
- seasonal summer applications are also welcome
- you will work with experienced drivers & crews to complete moves in and around Edmonton. Out of town trips may be available for those who want them.
- We use modern equipment that is safety regulated and equipped
Part-time hours: 40 per week Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:
- English not required
- French not required
We provide PPE or an allowance for PPE to front line staff. We also screen customers prior to their move for covid risks, and provide them protocols for move day to keep our staff safe. Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
