Job Description

We are looking to employ an experienced D or A driver to deliver furniture to our customers in a timely manner.
This job involves driving AND moving of furniture so must be physically fit.

Must have a clean driver abstract, if you have any offences need not apply.



Responsibilities



Deliver furniture to the stores in a friendly, professional manner.

Contacts Shipper/Office of product or customer issues.

Examine product for damages, document reasons for product to be returned, notify front office of any isssues.

Loading product utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages.

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:



Experience operating 28 foot truck, minimum

3 years (must have letter of experience)



Knowledge of GTA, major highways and cities in Ontario.

Provides exceptional customer service.

Drives company vehicle in a safe manner.

Maintains vehicles and equipment, conducts vehicle safety check.

Knowledge of Electronic Log-Books

Hours of Operations



We work Monday-Friday, no weekends.

On days when going outside the GTA start time can be as early as 6am.

Expect to work 40-50 Hours a week.
