Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team at our Calgary facility. The position requires delivering, installing, and servicing concrete burial vaults for graveside committal services at various locations throughout the city and occasionally out of town. Professional conduct and appearance are important to our customers and the families we serve. Our company operates 7 days / week so some overtime and weekend work may be required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Detail oriented, 100% punctual and reliable individual with great communication skills. Load, transport, and set up concrete burial vaults at various locations with a truck mounted crane. (training provided) Lower burial vaults at funeral services following instructions from Funeral Directors. Some weekend work will be required. Pick, stage, and load products for customers in Calgary yard using a forklift. Prepare deliveries for drivers as required. Self-motivated with little supervision required. Maintain a clean respectful appearance and wearing clean attire for services. Must be able to lift, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn, kneel and squat for short periods of time. Appropriate use of PPE at all times.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade 12 Education Valid Class 5 drivers license. Exemplary customer service and reliability. Forklift experience, certification, and competence. Understanding and implementing safe work procedures and practices. Applicant must be able to work collaboratively as a team. Computer skills are an asset. Ability to effectively, and accurately complete Job hazard assessments and associated paperwork. Must be able to lift, push, pull, up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis. Valid class 5 Driver's license (abstract required) Must have reliable transportation. Capable of working in all weather conditions. Valid First Aid certificate is an asset.
