Job Description
Evan J Strong Funeral Services, a growing Family owned and operated Funeral service in Calgary with two full service locations, is looking for an Alberta Licensed Funeral Director. We are looking for someone who sees funeral services as a calling-not a job, is willing and able to work as part of a dynamic and customer focused team.
Qualifications:
Alberta Funeral Directors License
Class 5 drivers license
Clean criminal record Check
Responsibilities:
Meeting with families to arrange services , both at need and pre need
Working on and directing funeral services
Completing transfers of deceased individuals
Completing cremations
Other duties as required
Skills you must possess:
Ability to work on a team and independently as workload dictates
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to multitask and willingness to do work outside of the Funeral Directors role
Strong organizational skills
