we have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Project Coordinator to join our team.You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of $63,750 and benefits.


Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.


The Fundraising Project Coordinator plays a critical role in the development, maintenance, and delivery of the charitys fundraising plan, leading on all aspects of our projects, including ensuring the effective promotion and smooth operation of our programs. All with a view to maximizing income.


Key duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):



Provide administrative support and oversight in a timely fashion Suggest new innovative fundraising opportunities Preparing and procuring fundraising resources Ensure the smooth running of Fundraising operations, establish lines of communication, ensure value of money, and promote a positive work environment. Prepare Fundraising resources, procurement, information collating (Fundraising database) management, action queries and complaints in a timely fashion Deliver business continuity in Fundraising Admin operations in general. Proactively establishing consistent clear lines of communication. Develop and sustain the Purple Network Work closely with Communications and Fundraising to ensure the effective promotion of Purple Network Increase Purple Network participation, thereby increasing income on a year by year basis. Organize all regional networking events and take the lead on all aspects of events including arranging venues, catering, guest speakers, the program, maximizing attendance and carrying out all related administrative tasks. Work with the Communications department to create marketing collateral for Purple Network, including a website landing page, brochure and flyers in order to promote the program. Maintain regular communication with Human Appeals regional fundraisers to ensure that Purple Network is promoted to existing and new donors. Develop a strong working relationship with other fundraising, ensuring that all members are properly treated and safeguarded in accordance with Human Appeals policy and procedures Provide mechanisms for participant feedback using this information to make improvements to the program going forward

Skills and Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience working in administration and/or a fundraising or sales organization meeting yearly income targets MS Office suite Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector

Working with people Delivering results and meeting stakeholders needs Adapting and responding to change Presenting and communicating information Relating and networking Formulating strategies and concepts Persuading and influencing

Education, Certifications, and Languages:

University degree preferred, or qualified by experience Fluent English is essential. Additional languages, e.g. Arabic, Urdu are desirable

Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship program has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials. Pioneering technologically innovative infrastructure projects in Pakistan, like designing and building a 25-km embankment on the Chenab River in Pakistan. Protecting an entire community from being washed away, the embankment has held back the floods each year, including Pakistans worst flooding in a decade during its last monsoon season. Quenching the thirst for the 2 million residents of the Gaza Strip by working with UNOCHA to purify Gazas water network. And now, our newest project involves building a large-scale desalination plant to provide daily access to clean water for 60,000 people across Gaza. Recovering lost livelihoods for vulnerable farmers in Gaza by planting 80,000 olive trees since 1991. The farming project provides each farmer with 30-40 prime olive trees so they can establish a vibrant, sustainable crop that yields not just food but income for generations.
