Job Title: Fundraising and Donation Engagement Coordinator
Victoria Women In Need Community Cooperative (WIN) is a non-profit community service cooperative that provides programs to support women, trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people along their journey between crisis, self-sufficiency, and wellness. We run 5 resale shop locations as well as an online shop to be able to support us in funding our programs and operations.

Wage Range:
$20-$21 / hour (with paid breaks)
Expected Schedule:
15-20 hours /week, anticipated Mon-Fri with weekends as needed, subject to change based on business needs
This is a hands-on position that is responsible for:
Supporting and implementing fundraising campaigns and initiatives, from planning through to execution
Contributing to the creation of yearly fundraising strategy and working to reach annual monetary donation goals
Working collaboratively to increase donations of goods and financial contributions to WIN, including working with co-op students and volunteers to support fundraising initiatives
Researching and assisting with grant writing
Maintaining donor and sponsor records and ensuring all donations are acknowledged in a timely manner
Coordinating donation drives and fundraising events, both independently and in partnership with local organizations
Attending community events to raise awareness of WIN's work and build engagement
Assisting with the transport or organization of materials for events or campaigns as needed
Representing WIN's mission and values in community outreach, through presentations, and while attending networking and public events
Creating and distributing outreach materials and campaign-related resources to WIN locations
Supporting communication efforts in coordination with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Helping ensure staff and volunteers are informed and involved in active campaigns
Building and maintaining relationships with donors, supporters, and community partners
Promoting a positive, inclusive, and respectful space within the team and community
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience in donor relations, fundraising, community engagement, or related experience
Ability to build relationships and connect meaningfully with individuals, businesses, and partners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, people-centred approach
A passion for sustainability, second-hand goods, and community impact.
Understanding of or interest in WIN's mission and programming
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to coordinate logistics and meet timelines
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once
Must be comfortable representing WIN in the community and speaking to diverse audiences
A valid Class 5 driver's licence is preferred (as travel is required as part of this role)
