We are looking for a
Part-Time Fundraising & Development Coordinator
to help expand our fundraising capacity, cultivate meaningful donor relationships, and build long-term community support.
About You
You're a resourceful self-starter with a proven track record in fundraising and stakeholder relations. You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments and know how to inspire donors, sponsors, and partners. With your ability to design and execute creative fundraising strategies, you'll help strengthen RVF's financial sustainability and grow our impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Implementation
Develop and deliver comprehensive fundraising strategies for both large-scale capital projects and smaller community initiatives.
Diversify funding streams through individual giving, corporate partnerships, foundations, and government grants.
Manage campaign timelines, communications, events, and reporting.
Donor & Stakeholder Relations
Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with donors, sponsors, businesses, and service clubs.
Enhance donor engagement with personalized outreach, impact reporting, and recognition.
Maintain donor records with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
Events & Community Engagement
Plan and execute fundraising events, auctions, and community campaigns.
Represent RVF at community gatherings, presentations, and stakeholder meetings.
Create compelling stories and content (newsletters, LinkedIn, reports) to highlight donor impact and community success.
Grants & Reporting
Research, prepare, and submit grant applications to secure operational and project funding.
Track and report on key fundraising metrics (funds secured, donor retention, campaign milestones).
Provide regular updates to the CAO, Board, and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, marketing, or nonprofit administration.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and public speaking).
Demonstrated experience in fundraising campaigns, grant writing, and donor stewardship.
Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and build strong relationships.
Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events.
Position Details
Contract
: 1 year, renewable annually based on KPI's and deliverables.
Hours
: Part-time (approx. 20/week, flexible).
Compensation
: Range - $35,000.00 - $50,000.00, dependent on experience.
Location
: Hybrid - Airdrie Corporate Head Office & Home office based.
