Fund Operations Associate

Location: Calgary / Hybrid

We're looking for a Fund Operations Associate to join our Innovation & Fund Operations team - the engine behind how we execute, reconcile, and automate fund activity. This role is ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, thrives on precision, and enjoys seeing how process improvements translate into tangible business impact.

What You'll Do

Process and reconcile fund transactions including capital calls, subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions across internal and external funds. Coordinate with custodians to execute wires, EFTs, account openings, and journal entries. Prepare and process bulk trades based on ad hoc or systematic trading instructions. Maintain accurate records of fund and client accounts in internal systems. Identify and escalate exceptions or discrepancies, supporting root-cause resolution. Partner with the Innovation team to identify and implement automation opportunities. Support reporting, audits, and process documentation within Fund Operations.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 2+ years of experience in fund or investment operations, or financial services. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets. High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Collaborative approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Pursuit or completion of CSC, CIM, or CFA Level 1 designation is an asset.
