Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fund Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in investment management and financial services, with a focus on portfolio management and risk analysis. This role involves overseeing investment strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring optimal asset allocation to achieve financial goals. The Fund Manager will leverage their expertise in financial concepts and analysis to make informed decisions that drive fund performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to client objectives and market conditions. Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk management assessments to identify potential investment opportunities. Manage cash flow and liquidity for the fund, ensuring efficient cash management practices. Oversee portfolio management activities, including asset allocation and performance monitoring. Engage in wealth management practices, providing clients with comprehensive financial planning advice. Utilize Bloomberg and other financial software for research and analysis of market trends. Maintain strong relationships with clients through effective relationship management and communication. Collaborate with internal teams on underwriting processes, technical accounting, and tax considerations related to investments. Stay informed about developments in private equity, investment banking, and asset management sectors. Prepare detailed reports on fund performance, market conditions, and investment strategies for stakeholders.

Experience

Proven experience in investment management or related financial services roles. Strong understanding of financial concepts including risk analysis, financial planning, and accounting principles. Proficiency in using financial software tools for analysis and reporting purposes. Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively. Experience in sales or client-facing roles is preferred to enhance relationship management capabilities. Knowledge of wills, trusts & estate law is a plus for providing comprehensive client services. A background in research related to market trends and investment opportunities is highly desirable.
