annual operating budget of over $1.5 million

, we deliver programs and services that change lives. We're on an exciting journey to expand our impact - including a major Capital Campaign for a new home - and we need a dynamic, strategic, and relationship-driven professional to help us get there.

What You'll Do

As our

Fund Development Officer

, you will:

Lead fundraising initiatives

with phased goals

Year 1:

Raise $300K-$400K while building systems and relationships.

Year 2+:

Scale to $500K-$700K annually with a strong donor pipeline.

Guide a major Capital Campaign

for our new home.

Seek grants and foundation funding

, writing compelling proposals and stewardship reports.

Build and nurture relationships

with donors, prospects, and volunteers.

Design and execute creative donor engagement strategies

that inspire giving.

Manage S.H.I.F.T.'s social media and online presence

, sharing stories that connect hearts and open doors.

Analyze donor trends and create segmentation plans

for meaningful engagement.

Coordinate donor recognition and stewardship programs

, ensuring timely and accurate acknowledgments.

Collaborate with leadership and community partners

to secure philanthropic support.

Maintain donor records and fundraising databases

with precision and care.

Host presentations and small group outings

to engage donors and partners.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in

fundraising, donor cultivation, and stewardship

. A

creative communicator

who can shine both in person and online. Strong organizational skills and ability to

manage multiple priorities

. Experience with

fundraising software and social media platforms

. A passion for

community impact and storytelling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
