Job Description
Overview:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our Finance and Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who enjoys collaborating to achieve team goals and contributing to a fast-paced, growing investment environment.
What You Will Do:
Perform full-cycle accounting for multiple companies and managed funds Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements Collaborate with external fund administrators, auditors, and the CFO Prepare financial information for annual, semi-annual, and quarterly reports Compile monthly data for fund fact sheets and marketing materials Support tax preparation and related activities Handle other accounting and finance duties as needed
What You Must Have:
3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit (fund accounting experience is an asset) Working toward or holding an accounting designation (CPA preferred) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills High attention to detail and strong work ethic
