Who we are looking for

The AIS Centralized Pricing and Liquidity team has recently been established within our market leading AlphaFrontier(TM) technology to further enhance our service offering within the Fund of Hedge Fund space and to create vast efficiencies within our day to day operations. The team is responsible for supporting Fund of Hedge Fund teams globally in the collection and entry of pricing data and maintenance of Hedge Fund liquidity data. An opportunity has now arisen for an individual to join the Global Security Master and Centralized Pricing Team at the initial stage to help build and shape this team for future success. The team is located across the Toronto and Poland offices.

What you will be responsible for

As Centralized Pricing Associate, you will be part of the AIS Centralized Pricing and Liquidity. With limited supervisory assistance they will be expected to undertake the following, with a personal goal of 100% accuracy, timeliness and completeness.

Tasks will include:

  • Management of pricing dropbox and correct entry of pricing within agreed timeline
  • Set up of securities within agreed timeline
  • Review PPM and/or Offering Documents to extract and enter liquidity information
  • Support of global FOHF NAV teams and external clients.
  • Manage client deadlines, ensuring they are achieved.
  • Identify system and process improvements and working with the global team to establish and maintain best practice
  • Assist and train others in your team with their pricing and problem resolution
  • Develop and improve relationships with all fund counterparties through excellent communication skills - discussions with fund counterparties to resolve pricing, security and liquidity issues
  • Continually strive to improve team interactions, communications and dynamics
  • Train new staff on existing procedures and controls and encourage all team members (subordinates, peers and superiors) to innovate
  • Ongoing education of leading hedge fund industry developments (review of written materials, discussions with customers and peers)

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • 2 or more years of experience in a financial institution (Pricing experience preferred)
