Italian Centre Shop is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Wholesale Order Desk to join our growing team at our Little Italy location (10878 95 Street) in Edmonton, AB.

How you help the team:

• Primarily answering the main Italian Centre Shop phone lines during office hours. Taking orders & directing calls.
• Checking the emailed & faxed orders
• Input all incoming wholesale/restaurant and intercompany orders (Shipping & invoicing in the order of delivery & pick up dates)
• Issues credits
• Makes weekly calls to Wholesale Accounts for outstanding accounts, emailing statements, invoice copies, emailing receipt copies for payments.
• During slow seasons - calls customers to inform them of new products, new price lists and/or seasonal products arriving (for example truffle season)
• Opens mail and distributed accordingly
• Informing customers of "shorts" if needed
• Continuously manages customer database for accuracy during regular customer interactions or during slow times (updating customer information)
• Processes accounts and all incoming payments
• Opens new customer accounts and sending proper information for new accounts
• Compares statements to invoices - investigating any discrepancies
• Files all copies of invoices received & filing all payments received
• Escalates any unresolved SMS issues to IT Consultant
• Emails/mails monthly statement for all wholesale customers
• Follows all policies and procedures within the department
• Presents and maintains a safe work environment
• Communicates professionally and respectfully with all other departments within the store
• Opens all incoming company mail and distributes daily
• Promotes a positive company image by actively engaging with employees, customers, suppliers, and the community
• Represents ICS both in and out of the store
• Shares their ideas or observations with Manager regarding new items or trends in the market

Qualifications:

• High School or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferred.
• A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a wholesale order desk role.
