The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a

Full-Time (1.0 f.t.e.) Temporary Elementary Teacher for Manning Aurora Composite School

. This position is to commence on January 5, 2026 and will continue until June 26, 2026. The inital teaching assignment will teaching grade six.

This position will remain open until suitable candidate is secured.

Manning Aurora Composite is a K-12 school in northern Alberta. The school is located in the Town of Manning, Alberta, approximatly 200 km north of Grande Prairie. To see more of what this quant village offers, visit the website.

Qualifications:

Experience and/or training in teaching elementary grades. Excellent communications skills with students, staff and parents. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure student success. Proven ability to differentiate lessons to support students' achievement. Strong classroom management skills. A keen understanding of assessment practices. The ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom .

Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate. Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of your application.

This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the .

Annual Salary Range:

$ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division).
