Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for a Full-time (1.0 FTE) Teacher at Percy Baxter School in Whitecourt, Alberta
Successful candidate responsibilities
:Grade 7/8 Math
Teacher requirements/assets:
A student-centered approach to instruction and teacher-student relationships Effective organizational and classroom management skills An ability to design and implement differentiated instruction based on students' needs A commitment to collaborative practice and teamwork A belief in the power of positive relationships with parents Application of child development and learning progressions in the classroom Commitment to intentional and effective teaching practices to promote engagement and mastery in learning for students An eagerness for continuous professional growth An ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool Must have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
