Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to the clients of the various Thrive Group programs and locations. The position will provide nursing care to clients in accordance with physicians' orders, established professional standards, nursing principles and the policies and protocols of the assigned organization. The RN will monitor the health status of individuals and provide clinical leadership to the healthcare team members within the assigned location(s). This position provides direction to clinical and non-clinical staff during evenings, nights and weekends and contacts leaders on-call as necessary.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse certification with current license in good standing
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and families as required
Experience working with people with disabilities and/or seniors is an asset
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Possess strong leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment experience welcome, but not necessary (necessary education and training as part of the orientation).
