Sean D. Miller Professional Corporation is a small public accounting firm in Medicine Hat, AB. We aim to provide educational accounting and financial services to our clients with the goal of improving their financial net worth. Our firm is currently seeking a full-time receptionist / administrator with previous experience in a small to medium sized public accounting firm. Our firm respects the balance between family life and work, as such, there is some flexibility in the hours.
Responsibilities
Office administration including greeting clients, answering phones, entering monthly invoices and preparation of various reports for the firm.
Assembly of corporate year end files and personal tax returns.
Bookkeeping services for clients using SAGE & QuickBooks accounting software.
Professional communication with clients, staff, and Canada Revenue Agency.
Educational and Work Experience
Accounting/Business diploma not required, but is an asset.
Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
Previous use of CaseWare, Profile, SAGE, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office suite an asset.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines required.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once (i.e., answering phones and assisting clients in office).
