What we need

Under the direction of the Manager, Technical Services, the

Pool Operator

is responsible for water quality and maintenance of the Nordic baths in order to obtain superior quality facilities that meet the needs of the clientele.

What you'll do

Management Activities: planning, organization and control

Assist in ensuring the cleanliness of all spa amenities and spaces; Ensure the proper operation of pool systems (filtration, heating, air conditioning, controls, etc.) and maintain preventive maintenance; Carry out the required calibration, adjustment, modification and programming of the various pool controls; Carry out a daily verification of the equipment and installations of the water pools (pressures, filters, lights, temperatures, water, oil, chemical and cleaning product levels, etc.); Perform other related duties.

Profile needed

What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position

High School Diploma;

Knowledge of maintenance techniques and work safety procedures;

Ability to do manual and technical work;

Ability to properly use maintenance equipment and tools;

Two (2) years experience in the field of water treatment, an asset;

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) accreditation, an asset;

Occupational Health and Safety and WHMIS training, would be assets;

Teamwork skills (autonomy, versatility); Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Good physical condition: ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23kg), ability to work in a noisy, hot and/or cold outdoor environment and long hours standing on your feet.
