20/20 Eye Care is now hiring a Full Time Optometric Assistant | Pre-Tester. We are an independent, family-oriented optometry office located in St. Vital and have been providing eye and vision care to our local community and surrounding areas for over 20 years.

For this position, we are looking to hire a friendly team member who enjoys working with people of all ages. Our ideal candidate is reliable, tech savvy, efficient, organized with an eagerness to learn and work. We are looking for someone who can continue to offer the exceptional care that our office strives to provide to our patients. Experience is an asset, however, we will provide on the job training for the right individual.

The role of the Optometric Assistant | Pre-Tester is to use automated instruments to gather vision and eye related information about a patient before they see their Optometrist as well as to prepare the exam room. The role would also include assisting at our front reception desk from time to time in greeting patients, booking appointments, managing electronic and fax communications, maintaining patient records, taking payment, as well as basic clerical tasks.

Working hours are primarily during the daytime from Monday to Friday but may include Wednesday evening and some Saturdays. We offer vison and eyewear benefits, and a Health Spending Account.
