Logistics Dispatcher

We're looking for a full-time, experienced, and highly motivated individual to help coordinate and support our day-to-day operations. What You'll Do

Plan and schedule daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient execution. Maintain real-time communication with drivers and proactively manage any issues or changes. Collaborate with the customer service team to adapt routes and schedules based on client needs. Act as a central point of contact for drivers--handling calls, messages, and support inquiries. Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers and customers to ensure a smooth delivery process. Monitor traffic, weather, and road conditions, and assist drivers in re-routing when necessary. Ensure daily dispatch coverage and provide status updates as needed. Handle quoting and pricing tasks when booking new loads. Use dispatch software and load boards (such as Load link) to find and assign loads.

What You Bring

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong understanding of regional roadways and transportation routes. Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Calm and efficient under pressure, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Prior experience using dispatch tools like Loadlink; knowledge of Xpert Dispatch is an asset. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

High school diploma required. Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience in logistics or transportation (required). Post-secondary education in logistics, business, or operations (preferred but not required).

Work Schedule:

12-hour shifts Night shifts and weekends as needed On-call availability
