Pay & Compensation

Hourly Rate:

CA$19.00 - CA$28.50 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated

Full-Time Handy Pro

to serve as a versatile, skilled technician for My Handy Pro's extensive service offerings. This role requires a competent professional with a solid background in renovation and general construction to execute a high volume of maintenance tasks and small-to-medium renovation projects across the region.

What You Will Do

:

This is a critical role responsible for high-quality, efficient service across a wide range of trades, covering both short-term service calls and longer project completion.

Day-to-Day Maintenance & Repair:

Handling reactive maintenance and repairs across residential and commercial properties.

Carpentry & Renovation:

Executing work including decks, fences, custom feature walls, basic framing, trim, and minor renovation tasks.

Installation & Assembly:

Installing doors, windows, storm doors, flooring, tile, TV mounts, and furniture.

Drywall & Paint:

Handling drywall patching, skimming, and minor paint touch-ups.

Logistics:

Managing project timelines, providing input on estimates, and maintaining professional client communication via company-issued technology.

Essential Requirements:

Experience:

A

minimum of 5+ years

of progressive, verifiable experience in renovation and general construction, with an emphasis on carpentry.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings.

Tool Requirements:

Provided by Company:

Major power tools like a

chop/table saw

and

specialized tools and equipment

are provided.

Required by Employee:

Must possess a full complement of

basic hand tools

appropriate for general maintenance and carpentry.

Logistics/Driving:

Valid driver's license with a clean abstract. Comfortable driving a company truck/van with an attached trailer.

Soft Skills:

Enjoys problem-solving, has a growth mindset, and has experience with scheduling and customer service.
