Under the direction of the Manager & Assistant Manager, F&B, this position is responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the front of house Food and Beverage (F&B) operations at a multi-venue location. Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Contributes to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Motivates, leads by example and provides a learning environment. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities
Oversees the front of house F&B operations on a shift basis of a multi-venue location; assists with the development of performance objectives and delivers performance reviews for direct reports as necessary
Schedules and supervises employees; verifies time and attendance; assigns shift work assignments; ensures appropriate coverage while minimizing operating costs
Completes shift reports for management and for the next shift; tracks quality and guest issues and reports to management
Assists with the screening and selection of new hires; organizes and tracks training progress
Assesses guest alcohol consumption to determine removal or restriction decisions and delivers message to guest
Orders front of house supplies as required; may participate in monthly inventory count
Supports front line F&B services as required
Offers F&B expertise to internal and external customers
Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments and employees

Education and Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 education is required
Post-Secondary education in hospitality, or a suitable combination of education and experience, is required
2 years' Food & Beverage experience is required
2 years' experience in a lead role, or 1 year experience in a supervisory role, is required
Demonstrated ability to exceed customer expectations, both internal and external, through timely, effective, and service oriented communication
Satisfactory attendance is required
Proficient with computers and experience using MS Office and POS experience, is required
