The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Facilitator to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who brings both real-world human services experience and a strong ability to facilitate engaging, practical, and reflective learning experiences for professionals across diverse sectors.
You will deliver training across multiple sectors and roles, helping individuals and organizations build skills in communication, creating healthy boundaries, trauma-informed practice, de-escalation, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate interactive, evidence-informed training sessions for adult learners across the human services sector.
Deliver training to frontline sta?, supervisors, and leaders in mixed and role-specific groups.
Support learning in areas such as:
o Trauma-informed and relationship-based practice
o Professional boundaries and ethical decision-making
o Communication, de-escalation, and conflict navigation
o Psychological safety and team dynamics
o Self-regulation, resilience, and reflective practice
Adapt facilitation approaches to di?erent audiences, learning styles, and group dynamics.
Contribute to continuous improvement through participant feedback and reflection.
Represent Imagine Institute professionally and in alignment with its values.
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Education, Adult Learning, Health Sciences, Community Development, Human Services).
Minimum 5 years of experience working in the human services sector.
Minimum 3 years of experience facilitating adult learning, training, or professional development.
Assets:
Master's degree in a related discipline preferred.
Training or certification in adult education, facilitation, coaching, trauma-informed practice, or conflict resolution.
Experience facilitating across multiple human service settings.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
Knowledge of trauma-informed principles and relational practices.
Content expertise in one or more areas (i.e., mental health, human development, interpersonal skills, etc.)
Skills:
Excellent facilitation, communication, and group engagement skills.
Ability to navigate complex or sensitive topics with professionalism and care.
Skilled at translating theory into practical, real-world application.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Personal Qualities:
Grounded, friendly and relational in approach.
Reflective, adaptable, and growth-oriented.
Values psychological safety, inclusion, and respect.
Comfortable working with diverse roles, perspectives, and experiences.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $70,000 - $77,000 annually, commensurate with education, experience, and facilitation expertise.
