Job Summary
Sterling House is looking for a kind, dependable, and team-oriented Dining Room Server who takes pride in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents. This role is about more than serving meals; it's about care, connection, and consistency. We are seeking someone who values high standards, works efficiently, and always puts residents first.
Responsibilities
Provide friendly, attentive meal service to residents with respect and patience Create a positive and comfortable dining atmosphere Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room at all times Follow service standards and procedures Work efficiently during meal service while supporting team members Assist with setting up, serving, and cleaning up the dining room Communicate respectfully with residents, coworkers, and kitchen staff Ensure resident dignity, safety, and comfort are always the priority
Skills & Qualifications
Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor Strong teamwork and communication skills Positive attitude and reliable work ethic Ability to work cleanly and stay organized Attention to detail and ability to follow standards Previous food service experience is an asset but not required
Hours
Monday to Friday (9:30am - 1:30pm / 3:00pm - 7:00pm)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
