Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a

Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced, gentle, and possess a kind, caring demeanor. A bubbly and upbeat personality is essential, as we prioritize both clinical excellence and creating a welcoming environment for our patients.

Office Hours:

Monday:

12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Tuesday:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Wednesday:

12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Thursday:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

One Saturday per month:

8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures on patients of all ages, including pediatric patients Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify any potential issues Take vital signs and medical histories to ensure comprehensive patient care Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits Collaborate with dentists and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within the dental office Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies

Qualifications:

Registered and in good standing with the

College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)

2+ years

of clinical dental hygiene experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Warm, gentle, and patient-centered approach to care Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-based environment Familiarity with dental software Dentrix is an asset
