We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food storage and preparation areas.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal service, including chopping, marinating, and cooking.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
