Full-Time Live-In Assistant Resident Manager

to work for our Shoreline and St. Clair Towers in Windsor, ON.

ABOUT THE ROLE



TerraCorp Management is looking for a

Full-Time Live-In Assistant Resident Manager

for our Shoreline and St. Clair Towers to be responsible in maintaining the building in excellent condition, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents

.



As the Assistant Resident Manager you will:

Minor maintenance includes, but is not limited to:

Moving fridges, stoves between apartments Changing light bulbs, investigating fuse box information, replacing fuses, and batteries Testing smoke detector annually and/or testing smoke detector prior to a new move-in, including replacing batteries in battery-operated detectors Replacing burners on stoves and installing shelves in fridges Removing and replacing light switches or outlet covers Adjusting or installing window screens Mitigating damage during leaks/floods (shutting off water to the building and cleaning up water and debris) Covering cracked windows Obtaining replacement keys for apt doors, building doors, mailboxes Conducting move in and move out inspections with residents Moving garbage and recycling bins for pick-up and return as required Cleaning of all common areas, including furniture and equipment daily Pick up litter, garbage, debris on the grounds, parking lot and underground garage daily, including use of Company supplied leaf blower/vacuum as required on a daily basis Cleaning of garbage area inside and outside daily Keep exterior drains clear of dirt and debris on a daily basis Cleaning and wipe-down laundry room daily Maintaining building records and reports as required by the Resident Manager's Manual Vacuuming corridors three (3) times per week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cleaning up to 2 suites each month following a vacancy. Any suites over and above can be cleaned and claimed as an extra or TerraCorp will bring in a cleaning company to clean any remaining vacant suites that month. Other duties as may from time to time be reasonably assigned
Renting of suites includes, but is not limited to:

Answering call and email inquiries Following call and email scripts set out by management Performing follow-up calls and emails when applicable Knowing the product, availability and pricing of vacant and upcoming vacant suites Communicating incentives when applicable Ensuring suites are rent ready Other duties as may from time to time be reasonably assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED



The successful candidate will be very detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects at any given time and possess excellent communication and customer service skills Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently Proven maintenance and cleaning skills Proficient in Excel, Word and MS Office Ability to prioritize Superior organizational and time management skills Friendly and positive attitude with a professional demeanor Ability to lift up to 50lbs
