Job Description
Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for 2 Education Assistants (1 Full-time 1.00 & 1 Part-time 0.75) at Onoway Jr/Sr High School.
Successful candidate responsibilities:
Provide support to our teaching staff in a variety of subjects
Teacher Assistants Qualifications:
Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school Understand and carry out oral and written direction Work independently with minimal instruction Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills Respect confidentiality Practice professionalism with all OHS School students, staff, administration, parents and public Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process Have strong interpersonal skills and patience Enjoys working in a team environment

30 hours per week--5 days/6 hours per day 22.5 hours per week--5 days/4.5 hours per dayWage Rate:
$20.44/hour - $29.65/hour depending on qualifications and experienceApplication Process:
