About the Candidate

Able to work comfortably and reliably with remote developers
We are looking for a Software Developer with a passion for modern software technologies and distributed applications. The candidate should be willing to work in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment and take on new challenges on a daily basis. As a senior developer, you will be expected to lead software projects and mentor other members of the development team.

Specific skills we are looking for:

5 years of experience is required Expertise in one or more of the following languages Java, Go, Python, C/C++, Javascript (NodeJs) Experience with data modelling and building REST APIs Experience with modern front-end technologies Experience with distributed systems architecture Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns

Other skills that are considered assets

Authentication technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, RADIUS, LDAP, MFA) WAF/AMS technologies and techniques Experience with Nodejs, Express and the NPM ecosystem Experience with a front-end framework, preferably React Experience with Containers and Microservices Experience with Cloud-Native technologies and Kubernetes Strong Linux command-line skills Experience with unit testing frameworks Familiar with CI/CD tools ( Git, Jenkins, BitBucket, SonarQube, Artifactory)

Salary Range: CAD $120k-$140k
