Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated Associate to join our warehouse operations team. This role entails 2 main duties ; 4to5 months of order fulfillment and the remaining year shop assembly , parts fabrication and assistance with parts ordering. It involves supporting the efficient movement, storage, and management of goods within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse processes, fabrication, machinery & equipment. Strong focus on safety and accuracy a must. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in logistics, construction, or industrial work to develop their skills in a dynamic setting.

Duties



Assist with warehouse distribution tasks including order picking, loading, and unloading shipments Operational use of forklifts and jib cranes safely and efficiently Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and update records accurately Support fabrication related activities as needed, including material handling . Load/unload materials or products throughout the facility Preparation and Picking of Raw Material for Fabrication shop. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment Support inventory control through regular stock checks and organization of storage areas

Skills -- minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience the following:



Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles Mechanical knowledge for operating various shop equipment and hand tools such as forklifts, cranes, and drills, saws, etc. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking Experience with order picker operations and order picking procedures Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication environments is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and equipment use Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Must have attention to detail and follow Supervisor 's instructions Knowledge of Quality and Inventory Control and Methods of Inspection. The candidate must be conscientious and have a real desire to be exceptional at their job. Must have experience in calculating yield

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
