Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Toddler Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood development, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities tailored for toddlers, fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development Supervise and interact with children during play, learning, and mealtime to ensure safety and engagement Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and activities that support individual children's needs Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Adhere to all licensing regulations, safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education Document children's development and maintain accurate records of daily activities and observations

Skills

Proficiency in English; bilingual skills such as French are a plus Strong background in childcare, early childhood education, or special education Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and team members Competence in computer operation and familiarity with educational software or classroom management tools Classroom experience demonstrating leadership, organization, and time management skills Ability to create engaging lesson plans and maintain organizational records efficiently Demonstrated ability to work well with people with diverse backgrounds in a collaborative environment
