The Corporation of the Township of North Huron is hiring for:

Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Assistant

(Full-Time Temporary)

Reporting to the Manager of Children Services, Early Childhood Educator Assistants support staff in the planning and delivery of early learning according to the "How Does Learning Happen? Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years 2015. Early Childhood Educator Assistants also provide play based, child focused, emergent curriculum in accordance with the Program Statement and Program Implementation Plans for North Huron Children's Centre.

The ideal candidate will have:

Grade 12 Diploma/GED or equivalent

Previous experience working with children

Previous experience working in a Municipal daycare setting considered an asset

Current First Aid/CPR

Strong interpersonal and time management skills

January 23rd, 2026

Hours of Work:

37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Rate of Pay:

Band 2 ($17.97 - $21.14 per hour)
