We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing food service operations at the counter. This role involves taking orders, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff. A strong focus on food safety and sanitation is essential to maintain high standards.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Assist in restocking supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Provide assistance to customers with inquiries or special requests, ensuring a positive guest experience.
Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; training will be provided as necessary.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed
