Security Guards

for an Industrial Site in the

Campbell River Region

This is a key position responsible for maintaining the safety and security of a high-profile industrial facility. As part of our team, you'll play an important role in access control, site patrols, incident response, and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols. You'll be part of a professional environment where reliability, communication, and situational awareness are essential-helping us deliver on our commitment to making people feel safe every day.

Pay Rate:

$300/day, eligible for daily overtime

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to both the client and site visitors. Maintain a strong visual security presence to ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and property. Control access to the site and ensure only authorized individuals are permitted entry. Detect, deter, and report any suspicious or unauthorized activities. Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, following all required protocols. Coordinate with local police, emergency services, or other personnel as needed. Conduct regular patrols of designated outdoor areas and ensure all site zones are secure. Scan and monitor assigned checkpoints throughout the site to identify any unusual or suspicious activity. Perform radio check-ins, alarm responses, and complete detailed security reports. Identify and report safety hazards or potential risks in a timely manner. Carry out site-specific duties as outlined in the client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Record all shift activities, incidents, and observations in company-issued logs and daily reports

Requirements

Valid BC Security License Valid BC Drivers License Excellent customer service and communication Must be comfortable being able to work alone and in group settings Must be comfortable working 12 hour shifts
