Job Description

Identify and research potential clients (e.g., manufacturers, distributors, retailers). Cold calling and emailing prospective customers. Attending industry events and networking opportunities to generate leads. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Regularly visit clients at their locations to understand needs and provide support. Address client concerns and resolve any service issues promptly. Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to promote transportation services. Prepare customized proposals and quotations. Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with clients. Explain the company's transportation options (e.g., freight, logistics, warehousing). Advise clients on the best transportation solutions for their needs. Provide up-to-date information on new services or company initiatives. Monitor client accounts to ensure satisfaction and high service standards. Upsell or cross-sell additional services (e.g., warehousing, expedited shipping). Manage contract renewals and secure repeat business. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client visits, and follow-up tasks. Prepare weekly or monthly reports for management. Update and manage CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. Monitor market trends and competitor activities. Collect feedback from customers to identify service improvement opportunities. Plan and optimize travel routes for maximum efficiency. Ensure all travel and visit schedules are adhered to. Represent the company professionally at all client interactions. Work closely with dispatch, operations, and customer service teams. Communicate client needs to ensure seamless service delivery. Participate in staff meetings and provide updates from the field. Adhere to company and regulatory safety standards while on the road. Ensure all necessary documentation (licenses, insurance, etc.) is current. Report any incidents or accidents promptly.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
