at our high-end kitchen supply store in the Mount Pleasant area in Vancouver. This position is for 5- 6 months potentially ending at the end of March 2026, however if sales allow it, we will stay in this location! This is ideal for someone who values quality products and enjoys providing exceptional customer service in an upscale retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing expert advice and product knowledge to customers is a must, helping them find the best kitchen tools and equipment for their needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
Operate the register, process transactions, and handle customer returns or exchanges.
Assist with store inventory, restocking, and merchandise displays.
Provide outstanding community-based customer service, ensuring every customer has an excellent shopping experience.
Supporting evening shifts during high volume retail seasons.
Requirements:
Must be mature and reliable
with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexible schedule
with the ability to work weekends and seasonal shifts, including evenings when the store is seasonally open late.
Previous
retail experience
in a customer-facing role is a MUST.
Interest or experience in high-end kitchen products is a MUST.
Not ideal for students;*we're seeking a candidate who can commit to consistent 32-40 hours per week and hours during the day.
