We are looking for a Full Time Retail Security Guard in Timmins!

Position Highlights:

• Guaranteed full-time hours
• Flexible schedule within retail store operating hours
• Occasional weekend and afternoon shifts
• Availability required: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 7 days a week

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
We are currently hiring for the following schedule (39 Hours Per week):

• Tuesdays: 1:00 PM - 9:15 PM
• Wednesdays: 1000 AM - 9:15 PM
• Thursdays: 1:00 PM - 9:15 PM
• Fridays: 1000 AM - 9:15 PM

Responsibilities for a Retail Security Guard:

• Act as a visual deterrence to theft and antisocial behaviour
• Ensure safety of staff and customers
• Identification of shoplifters and those violating rules and laws
• Coordinate response to incidents including medical emergencies
• Composition of detailed incident reports in English

Qualifications for this position:

• A valid security guard license and first aid card
• Available to work flexible hours
• A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• Available 7 days per week between 0900-2200
• Have a clear criminal background
• Be eligible to work in Canada
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Previous certification in NVCI or Verbal Intervention an asset
• Be physically able to take and pass a Use of Force class

Skills Required
