A spot has opened up to join our family as a Pharmacy Assistant with a minimum of 30 hours per week at our Newmarket and Holland Landing locations!
Key responsibilities:
Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling, Data entry of patient care information into Fillware Computer, Receiving of wholesaler medication order, pricing, and placing on shelf, Third Party adjudication (if necessary), Accurate dispensing prescription medications, Maintenance of pharmacy stock (expiries, etc.) General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary, Handling customer prescription pick up, Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy Regular house-keeping of pharmacy (Cleaning, Shredding)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fillware Experience an Asset;
Must have EXCELLENT communication skills;
Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation; Demonstrated customer service experience; Strong motivation to succeed; Proficient computer/data/entry skills.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
