```Duties```
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and established quality standards.
- Decorate pastries and cakes using various techniques, such as piping, icing, and garnishing.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during the preparation and handling of pastries.
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate pastry production with overall menu offerings.
- Package and present pastries in an appealing manner for display or take-out orders.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with pastry selections and answering any questions they may have.
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or bakery setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality pastries.
- Proficient in cake decorating techniques, including piping, icing, and garnishing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
