We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team of 20 years . Momentum Therapeutics has opened a second location in Coquitlam and is looking for a physiotherapist to help grow the clinic patient load . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, assessment and ideally would treat with modalities that include dry needling, athletic taping and kin taping , ultrasound , shockwave, IASTM and any education using Pilates and a Stott reformer would be an asset as we have an open rehab space with a reformer. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, create treatment plans and accept ICBC and Worksafe BC claims, design and improve their physical abilities through tailored rehabilitation programs. Work in a multidisciplinary setting with RMTs , chiropractor , acupuncture, registered clinical counselors, and an osteopath. We are a friendly open heath care team with all the equipment needed to just walk in and treat. Electric tables, Jane software, ultrasound, shockwave, rehab equipment, full time reception for direct billing . The has a beautiful new space with large windows and multiple treatment rooms to use if needed. The perfect candidate would be open to a sliding scale % split at things build . Two morning shifts and two later shifts needed with one day on the weekend to offer to patients as we build, but can be tailored as needed. No limit on vacation time and a health care spending account of 1000 $ a year to start. This can be adjusted as the patient load builds.
Duties
Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans, and refer to other treatment modalities if needed
Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall function.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Requirements
A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist in BC.
have appropriate insurance for practice in BC .
Private setting experience is preferred.
Experience working with pediatric, adolescent, and athletes is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and patient care.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Flexibility with scheduling to ensure capturing patients .
Be tidy in their work environment and willing to share space if needed.
