Early Childhood Educator

to join our 3 to 5 Years Program. We are looking for someone who can provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can thrive.

Our program is

play-based

, focusing on children's interests while creating an environment that supports their growth and development. We emphasize age-appropriate activities that nurture sensory-motor skills, self-help abilities, and emotional regulation, helping children build a strong foundation in their early years.

Qualifications

Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certification First Aid Certification Clear Criminal Record Check Three References

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed group child care setting Knowledge of BC Community Care Licensing Regulations

Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and evaluate activities for children ages 3 to 5, both indoors and outdoors, to support their individual and group needs Provide positive guidance and care for children in the program Encourage age-appropriate learning and support the development of positive self-concepts Ensure a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for children Work cooperatively with team members and maintain effective communication Build and maintain supportive relationships with families

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
