Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our chiropractic clinic. Either multiple part time massage therapists, or 1 full time massage therapist.

We currently have 3 chiropractors at the clinic but no massage therapists so we have to refer out all massage patients and we need someone in house to refer too.

The ideal candidate has some existing patient base but not required, will have a passion for clinical massages helping patients recover from injuries and work with the doctors to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Secondarily, massages to achieve relaxation and pain relief from injury/tension through therapeutic massage techniques.

This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their needs and preferences. Perform various massage techniques, including clinical, relaxation, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Document client progress and treatment plans accurately. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all client interactions.

Skills

First and foremost hands on massage skills to get results with treatment and leave patient feeling improved. Proficient in medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients about their conditions and treatments. Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs. Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every client. Ability to perform various massage techniques with attention to detail and care. Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage appointment schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $60.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
