Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring a focus on holistic and patient-centered care. On average, our client appointments are 60 minutes long to allow clients to feel heard and provide the practitioner time to collaboratively build a therapeutic plan for the client.

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join our team. We're looking for someone who finds joy and fulfillment in helping others and enjoys variety in their work day. Comprehension and incorporation of the determinants of health are a requirement, as we attract and maintain our clients based on our holistic and non-judgmental person-centered approach. The nurse practitioner will see a mixture of patients in our office, in their homes, in their offices, or through telehealth. They must be comfortable working to full-scope and seeing patients of all ages. They will receive hands-on training and ongoing support from the medical director. Ideal hours are Monday to Friday 10am-6pm, although this is negotiable.

Qualifications

Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Alberta. Has a driver's license and a vehicle to be used for work. Holistic and person-centered approach to client care. Ability to work independently and collaborate with other team members. Excellent patient management and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills with patients, coworkers, and other health professionals. Comfort with working with all ages (from pediatric and elderly and end-of-life). Experience with managing complex medical conditions. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Familiarity with Telus MedAccess EMR is an asset.

Pay: $65.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
