Pay Rate: $16.75 /hr.

Site Description: Munich Re Centre is a 35 storey office tower located in the heart of the Financial District in Downtown Toronto. It is a mixed used tenant space and approximately 1500 personnel work in the building. The building has its own concourse level and is connected to the PATH system.

: Security Guards placed at Munich Re Centre will act primarily as Concierge at the front desk along with periodic patrols of the building. Welcoming tenants and visitors as they enter and leave the building, access control and public interaction will be the primary responsibilities for this role. Security Guards will also be responsible to respond to emergencies (fire, power outages, elevator entrapment, etc.).

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites: * Immunization Record

• A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Proficient in English (both oral and written)

Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement: * First Aid & CPR - Level C

• Management of Aggressive Behavior
• Use of Force
• Report Writing
• Additional courses as assigned

Upon hire successful applicants will be required to complete the following Paladin online courses: * Customer Service

• Patrol Procedures
• Diversity Awareness
• Finding The OHS Manual
• Paladin OHS Orientation
• Dealing with People with Mental Illness
• Workplace Respect
• Slips, Trips and Falls
