Overview:
Assist the Regional Maintenance Manager and the GSE, Facility & Tank Farm Supervisor, in the day-to-day maintenance of the GSE, facility and tank farm operations. You will ensure that our fuelling operation is delivered safely and efficiently following all applicable standards. This includes travel as necessary to 6 additional airports in our region.
Main accountabilities include:
Report directly to the Supervisor for daily tasks, updates, and guidance.
Maintain Into-Plane Fueling systems, gas and diesel trucks, and GSE equipment.
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Operate motorized equipment safely and efficiently.
Comply with the company's safety and attendance management policies.
Accurately complete daily, weekly, and monthly entries for fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance documentation.
Support audit processes under the direction of the leadership team.
Help transfer products and monitor storage tanks, pipelines, and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent fuel spills, releases, overfills, and contamination.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the maintenance garage, facility, and Fuel Farm.
Conduct all work in accordance with company, customer, industry, local, and federal safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must possess and maintain a valid Canadian driver's license.
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in Canada.
Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
Must be able to lift and move up to 70 lb.
Must have own tools and be either a Red Seal mechanic or have heavy duty mechanical experience
Experienced with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
Must be able to perform basic math calculations, maintain organized records and documentation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain required Airport security pass and AVOP license.
Work is partially outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
