Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by ensuring timely and consistent meal preparation.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and meets safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food safety, and sanitation protocols

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting with attention to detail Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
